My name is Stephen J. Luzar, I am Mdewakanton Dakota and a Licensed Psychologist. I believe that the entirety of my personal and professional life has been all about transformation. My transformations have had a direct impact on the care that I bring to the people that I serve.
As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

As a licensed Psychologist, I am trained, certified and licensed to provide specialized psychological assessment and treatment modalities for a wide range of situations with short- and long-term options
depending on the needs of the clients. I am Certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals and provide different treatment options for those dealing with the aftermath of traumas. I offer counseling services for men, women, children, adolescents, adults and elders. While I offer predominantly individual services, I also offer some couples & family counseling services to meet the specific needs of clients. Also, I offer community educations and prevention workshops upon request. In addition, I offer Supervision services for a variety of Mental Health Professionals based upon their specific needs. Most Importantly, DCI strives to provide the highest quality of services to all of the clients that I serve (with a special emphasis for Native Americans).
